Saymore Ngonidzashe Kativu
Ngoni (Saymore Ngonidzashe Kativu), a Futurist, is a PhD candidate in Sociology (University of Bonn) in ‘Science Futures’ within the Collaborative Research Centre CRC/TRR 228 - Future Rural Africa. Affiliated with the German Institute of Development and Sustainability (IDOS), Ngoni empirically studies the political ecology of agricultural knowledge systems, epistemic constellations of socioecological transformation, and agrarian futures in rural, Eastern and Southern Africa. His work employs ethnography and participatory social foresight, and has developed a novel method towards ethnographic studies of futures (Adult Play). He has also developed the concept Epistemic voids from his empirics.
