Prof. Dr. Kaat Louckx 

Jun.-Prof. Dr. Kaat Louckx ist Juniorprofessorin (Assistant Professor) für Science and Society an der Universität Bonn und Associated Faculty am Committee on the Conceptual and Historical Studies of Science (University of Chicago). In Forschung und Lehre verbindet sie Soziologie, Wissens- und Wissenschaftsgeschichte sowie politische Theorie. Ihre Arbeiten untersuchen Statistik, Indikatoren und Klassifikationen als epistemische und politische Instrumente des Regierens und sind u.a. in Nations and Nationalism, Journal of Social History, Social Science Historyund The Sociological Review erschienen. Sie ist Mitglied im Editorial Board von The American Sociologist.
